Henning von Zanthier, LL.M., attorney / legal counsel

Born in 1961. Founded the law firm "von Zanthier & Schulz"  in Berlin in 1992, with its focus on cooperation with Poland. Since 1995, he has also owned a law firm in Poznań known as "von Zanthier Kancelaria Prawnicza" Sp.k. Following his legal studies in Germany and France, he obtained the Master of Laws - LL.M degree in the United States. In 1991, he was admitted to the Berlin bar and started working at a large international law firm. In 2003, he was admitted as a foreign lawyer in Poznań, Poland. He is the first non-Polish lawyer who has been admitted to the chamber in Poland. He lectures on Polish law at the Free University of Berlin since 2004. He focuses on Polish business law, real estate law and Polish renewable energy law.

Henning von Zanthier is a member of the Polish-German Association of Legal Experts (between 1993 and 1998, he was its chairman), Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as a Board Member of the Central and Eastern European Club (Mittel – Osteuropa Club) in Berlin. Henning von Zanthier has authored a number of articles on the Polish-German trade. He regularly gives lectures on this subject for various institutions.
He also lectures at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Dipl.-Kfm. Rüdiger Schulz, certified public accountant / tax adviser / consultant engineer for International Tax Law

He has been a partner at "von Zanthier & Schulz" law firm in Berlin since 1999. Studied business administration in Berlin and graduated as a Diplom - Kaufmann in 1992. Following his studies, he worked in Berlin at a company providing audits and tax consulting. He was appointed tax consultant in 1997, and became a certified public accountant in 1999. He possesses a certificate for a quality management course of the tax profession and he is allowed to pass a statutory audit for a certified public accountant.

His professional expertise focuses on auditing annual statements of accounts, feasibility studies for business plans, enterprise restructuring, business operations optimisation through changing corporate procedures, legislation affecting businesses involved in international trade, as well as with regard to agreements to avoid double taxation, especially the Polish-German treaty. Rüdiger Schulz is a member of the Association of Tax Consultants in Berlin-Brandenburg, as well as of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He lectures on accountancy / balance-sheet analysis and other specialist aspects of tax law at various institutions.
